A pre-drywall inspection happens after the framing, rough electrical, rough plumbing, ductwork and windows are in and before the insulation and drywall cover them. It is the only time anyone can see the whole structure of the house at once.

What we look at: framing and headers, truss and joist connections, notched or over-drilled studs and joists, nail plates where pipes and wires pass through framing, window and door flashing, the rough plumbing and drain slopes, ductwork and bath fan venting, wiring and box placement, fire blocking, and the sill plate and anchor bolts. The report goes to you the same day so the builder can correct items before the drywall crew arrives.

Pair it with a blue tape inspection at the final walkthrough and an 11-month warranty inspection before the builder's warranty ends, and the house gets checked at the three points that matter.
